altEin neuer Patch ist da und bringt wieder viele neue Sachen mit sich.

Hauptsächlich war es diesesmal ein Patch, um alle Bugs zu fixen und den richtigen Patcher einzubringen.

------ ADDITIONS & CHANGES ------

General:
- You now regain more stamina when jogging.
- Leather Vendor is now selling Leptiod Scales and Placoid Scales. *

Combat:
- Reduced the stamina drain for blocking; this affects all types of blocking.
- The stamina drain for swinging weapons has been lowered.

AI & Mounts:
- Printout of pet battles is now correctly sent to the owner of each pet. *
- Melee damage dealt should now be more in sync with the attack animation. *
- Creature battles should now be more active and reactive overall. *
- Creature attack distance has been tweaked and should now be more accurate. *
- The creature AI system has been tweaked to be more cost effective to server performance. *
- The taming system has been tweaked to be more cost effective to server performance. *
- Tamed creatures that are set to follow should now be smoother. *
- Tamed creatures currently die when abandoning them. This is a temporary change. *
- Creature control commands that needed the name of the pet have been changed. For example: feed, bandage, rename or transfer, no longer require the creatures name. *
- Transfer creature control command is temporary disabled, due to maintenance and fixes. We are aiming to have the command available again at the next server restart. *
- Creatures will now become aggressive and attack players if they have fled to far. *

Art & Sound:
- The Texture compression has been changed. This should yield an increase in performance.
- Gazelles have got new impact sounds.
- Creatures should now quickly react to any damage they receive; melee attacks as well as ranged attacks.

Skills & Attributes:
- All characters now have 1000 rather than 800 skill points to spend on skills.
- The experience gained from taming and creature control is now a bit varied even when attempting to tame the same type of creature. *

UI:
- The chat scroll has been changed to buttons instead of a slider.
- The crafting interface for bows and shields has now been updated to match the weapons and armors UI.
- The refining, extraction and inventory GUI windows will now save their positions when closed. The rest of the windows will follow shortly. *
- The mouse pointer will now reappear where it disappeared when toggling mouse mode. *

------ BUG FIXES ------

General:
- Added a fix that should prevent players from becoming permanently flagged as Global Allowed.
- Guards will no longer kill players that are flagged as Local Allowed.
- You will now correctly regain stamina when walking.
- Certain starting locations led to the incorrect start location, this has been fixed. *

AI & Mounts:
- Fleeing creatures should now react not only to the player that first scared it, but also to other players.
- You will now dismount your current mount if you get overweight whilst mounted.
- Creatures movement should no longer stutter or be interrupted.
- An issue with rabbits and chickens being unable to spawn has been fixed.
- Creatures should now (finally) always be controllable after being tamed. *
- A bug in creature control made it possible to gain skill and use advanced commands from the start on tamed creatures. This has been resolved. *
- It should no longer be possible to tame another players pet; Under no circumstances. *
- Pets should now always be controllable again after unmounting a mounted creature. *
- Tamed creatures should now correctly be able to follow other creatures. *
- Tamed creatures should no longer be able to move at exaggerated speeds. *
- Creatures should no longer attack old targets after being issued a new command. *
- It should no longer be possible, in any way, to make the tamed creature attack, follow or protect itself. *

Combat:
- Fixed a bug that made is possible to glitch shields and bows to carry both.

Skills & Attributes:
- Fixed the following bugged books; Swift Riding, Controlled Riding, Plate Armor Crafting.
- Fixed broken skill Kallardian Lamellar Armor.
- Fixed some issues with refining.*
- You now use Messing,Grain Steel and Fullgrain Leather for crafting.*


Art & Sound:
- Dire wolf skinning bug fixed.
- Padded Leather skinning bug fixed.
- One Handed Sword swing animation fixed.
- Cleared road into Morin Khur and fixed minor graphical issues in that area.
- Fixed floating box hanging from the Morin Khur crane.
- Fixed lots of minor graphical issues in Myrland.
- Fixed animation-node to avoid characters jumping up and down while running.
- The glowing grass is now gone. *

UI:
- Fixed a bug that made the Quickbar align to the right side of the screen.
- Fixed an issue where the formatting of chat text sometimes got weird. *
- Fixed an issue with picking up and dropping items into the refining GUI. *



Wie immer sind diese natürlich nicht zu hundertprozent sicher und es kann sich noch immer etwas verändern...

na tollder wird bestimmt wieder 5 GB groß sein und leute die am stress test teilnehmen wollen könnens nicht weil sie wieder patch runterladen dürfen -.-

Richtig, bei mir hat das Runterladen 15 Stunden gedauert und ist erst in der vergangenen Nacht auf Werte über 500 kb/s hochgeschnellt, nachdem die Rate gestern bis spät abends bei 30 kb/s lag.

Und beim Starten des neuen Patches kommt gleich ein 500 MB Update hinterher.

Naja aber die 500 mb kann man ja dank dem nun endlich implementierten patcher sogar mit bis zu 1000 kb die sekunde saugen...
Hat bei mir nich mal 7 minuten gedauert, bin eigendlich ganz zufrieden mit dem teil

Kein Voriger Patch war 5Gigs groß. Es war nur undurchsichtig, was mit "Cache" gemeint war. Man hätte als Speicherpfad des Caches einfach den Ordner angeben müssen, in dem sich der MortalUpdater befand. Bei einem falschen Pfad wurde das Spiel praktisch komplett neu runtergeladen, da der Updater die schon vorhandenen Dateien nicht gefunden hat.
