Gestern abend sind neue Patchnotes erschienen. Damit wird der aktuelle MO-Beta-Client auf v.016.26.35 gepatcht. Die wohl wichtigste und zugleich unerwartetste Neuerung ist die Implementierung des dynamischen wetter-Systems in die Spielwelt von Nave.
Ab sofort dĂĽrfen wir uns ĂĽber Schneeflocken, Blitz und Donner sowie Regen freuen. Letzteres haben wir hier in Ă–sterreich ĂĽbrigens zur GenĂĽge.... ;-)

Wäre toll wenn jemand ein paar Screenshots oder sogar ingame-Videos von den Wettereffekten posten könnte, da das Einloggen ja noch immer eine Lotterie ist.

Overall this is a rather small patch with a couple of additions, changes and fixes. The goal of the patch is to deliver a more stable testing ground for you players. Rest assured we are working on the systems that are not enabled yet as well as smashing those nasty bugs that reside in the game.


------ FEATURES ------

- Beware, the weather gods of Nave awake! While the thunder rolls in over the Jungle and the rain starts pouring down with lightning lighting up the sky, the sun is shining in Meduli, snow is falling in the mountains and the clouds lie heavy over Morin Khur.

This is the first stage of our dynamic weather system. Myrland is divided up into several “weather zones” each with their own properties, which in short (as described above) means that different places in Myrland will have different types of weather at the same time and that weather changes will drift across the zones. Please note that some of these “zones” are lacking the thunder/lightning features in this patch.


------ ADDITIONS & CHANGES ------


General:
- During this patch you will receive ten times more resources when gathering (woodcutting, mining). This is to make it easier for players to craft armors and weapons.
- During this patch you will receive ten times more experience from reading books. This is to help players train their crafting skills faster.


AI & Mounts:
- The radius of creature spawners has been increased.
- Increased the amount of creatures per spawner for all ordinary spawners. Its now easier to find creatures in Myrland.


Art & Sound:
- Added new hairstyles.
- Added props and optimized Meduli.
- Lowered fountain sounds in Meduli.
- Lots of new ambiances added.
- Reverb in minotaur cave and mining cave have been strengthened.
- Amount of simultaneous voices brought back to 64.
- Donkeys have got their own sound set.
- Lightning and weather ambiances added.


UI:
- The chat window text is now color coded (channel colors).


------ BUG FIXES ------


General:
- Items stored in the bank should no longer disappear upon death.
- Fixed several issues that caused server and node crashes.


AI & Mounts:
- The creatures in Nave will once again roam and not stand stationary at their spawn point.
- Non-aggressive creatures should no longer aggro without cause.
- Fixed a bug that would cause AI to follow the player at a slower pace then intended when in combat.
- Pets that are aggressive and set to stay or protect should now have a maximum chase range when hunting other creatures and players in the game.


Skills & Attributes:
- You should no longer be able to start taming a creature when in combat mode.
- Possible fix for the Woodcutting/Mining crash. We need to test it on live to make sure.

Art & Sound:
- Upon resurrection the armor you were wearing should no longer be shown as worn to yourself or other players.
- Graphical fixes all over Myrland.
- Fixed lots of graphical issues in Morin Khur.
- Right footstep sounds should now be played in every spider cave.


UI:
- Stacking issues in the inventory and bank windows have been sorted.
- The inventory and equipped weight will now update to their correct values.


------ DISABLED SYSTEMS ------
- Housing (Houses, keeps, palisades and bridges)
- Guilds
- Thievery
- Line of sight checks for Magic temporarily turned off.
- Locking/Decreasing of Attributes and Skills.
